Alyna : Prologue

Prologue

     I guess you have never been into an other world... A world where everything is different from Earth, where the nature is not dying because of Men. A world in where all creatures live in harmony and where magic is part of people's lives. A world called Narnia... This world is my world; the world where I was born. I never knew the identity of my parents, but I know that I am a semi-elf. I was found in the forest by Aslan the Lion when I was around one year old. He left me to Selena, my adopted mother, whom is a cheetah. When I was five years old, I met a men in the forest: his name is Cornelius. He brought me to Miraz's castle where I was in charge by Cornelius himself. I grew up in a library where I developed an early  fascination for books and all sort of stuff that has a link with magic. Because my adopted father was practising a little bit of magic,  he taught me the basics. At the age of seven, my father began to teach Prince Caspian X, so I passed many days alone in his library or either in the castle's garden to read stories about the Ancients Kings and Queens of Narnia. Although, I had to be careful because Daddy clearly told me that Miraz didn't want anybody to learn about Narnians. After, when I was nine years old, I took the habit to go into the forest where nobody wanted to go because they were scared. This is where I found Selena, whom was always waiting for my return. So I brought her to the Castle, but I told her that Miraz would kill her if he learned she was a talking beast,so she had to be quiet.   

     Years passed without trouble, Father let me keep Selena in the castle , so that she could take care of me like she promised to Aslan. But all this time I didn't have a lot of friends because of my difference. I am a semi-elf, so when I was younger my ears were sharp, but they became more "normal" when I was older. Until I was twelve years old, my friend were only Selena and Cornelius. Then, my life changed when I met the Prince...
